Rope Fish Help.

Hi,
We have an issue with one of our ropefish, it looks like the *** end is ripping in half and something else is comming out, also there is white coloring on some areas of the fish, realy have no idea where to go from this point, I linked a pic I can get some more if needed, no clue what else to say.

Fish seems alive and will move around and breath fine.

looks like a laceration...any aggression from other fish in the tank? how big is the tank and what is in it?

ITs in a 48 gal tank with peacefull fish only, a few gouramis and thats about it.
I am going to try to get some better pictures of it maby that will help, there is nothing in that tank that could have even dinted it tho, its rather large, 30cm at least and nice and thick.
