I am getting a Rose Bulb Anemone-Entacmaea quadricolor-for my 125 gallon FOLR. I am also getting 2 mated maroon clowns-Premnas biaculeatus-tank-bred, have already laid eggs. I currently have 4 65 watt compact flourescents-2 actinic, 2 10,000K.

In the tank-4 inch live sand bed, 150lbs (+/-) of live rock, coral hogfish (very small), 3 yellow-tailed damsels, 1 Regal Tang (tiny 1 1/2" max), bicolor angel, and a lemonpeel angel.

Current tank conditions: Specific Gravity-1.024, Nitrate-o, Nitrite-0, ph-8.2, Ammonia-0

Is this enough light to support the anemone? Any thoughts any anything else to add?

It's enough light and they will climb to a spot that suits them the best. Light is only one concern with these critters. They need very stable water conditions a well established tank, and the clowns need to be a lot smaller than the rose or they can and will beat it to death. Also I'd give it a month or so in the tank without them so that it can get established. Also you might want to get rid of the damsels they probably won't get along to well with the clowns.

i have a rbta anemone, and two maroon clowns, just make sure the anemone is much bigger than the clowns because they'll beat it up.

Thanks for the help. The tank has been set up for over 8 months. Conditions are very stable. I only had one algae bloom (hair algae) on the tank walls and that hasbeen gone for aboout 2 1/2 months.

I am just moving very slowly with adding things. I will add the anemone first and then the clowns after 4-6 weeks.

Thanks for the advice. I just stumbled on these forums and am learning more and more each day reading through.
