Rosswake Tanks

Will put pictures of my tanks up this afternoon, for now, just descriptions:

55 Gallon Tank (my tank)
3" Blood Parrot
2.5" Jack Dempsey
2" Green Terror

30 Gallon Tank (My wife's tank)
10 fancy guppies
2 males
8 females

10 Gallon Tank (Feeder Breeder)
Baby Guppies aka. treats for my cichlids

Your wifes tank seems like a feeder tank also. Do your cichlids eat rosys yet? And if you feed them live fish they seem to be very aggressive after a while of feeding them.

lol, yeah, I could use the guppies as feeder fish too. But the ones we have kept are really pretty, and she is kinda partial to the "sweet and pretty" ones. So I had better not be feeding them to my big boys anytime soon! ; ) did you say that feeding feeder fish to cichlids makes them more aggressive? I have not noticed that yet, but it does make sense! I only feed them feeders once a week or two, so its not very often. That may be why I haven't noticed increased aggression, but I'll keep an eye on it. I am trying to make them all be as docile as a cichlid can be.

Well when they start to mature and you are still feeding them feeders. They will be a lot more meaner. Like i just feed mine live fish a couple of weeks ago and All of the sudden they started to be more aggressive. So yea they get into the habit of eating fish or anything that looks like the food, they will eat. So if you would want to put another fish in there and they think that its food they will try eat it and kill it.
