rosy barbs

hey
ive read around that rosy barbs can get a bit nippy, but not if they are kept in a school. how many of them would i need to get before they would not attack my silver sharks?

I keep a group of 5 in my 55 gallon and they never bothered any of the other fish.

Rosy barbs aren't that bad, it's tigers and their close relatives that are the real nippers.

I have 3, and they never bother my betta

I have 6 in my 55 with various Tetra's, female Betta's, Mollies and Cories and they don't bother anyone.

Just an fyi- long fin rosy barbs are less agressive for some reason.

i had long fins with rainbows and clown loaches. Never messed with them. Just chased eachother around for fun.

I think Rosy's get a bad reputation alot because of thier pain in the butt cousins, the Tigers....I've never had any problems whatsoever with Rosy's...they're a great fish to keep IMO.
