Rosy loaches

Hello
I've been searching for profile and care information about rosy loaches but cannot find very much. Does anyone know anything about rosy loaches? I would like to know what size they can grow to, what they eat, preferred habitat, and would be grateful for any other information.

Haven't heard about these guys in awhile, but there wasn't too much information about them then. They reach about 1", eats pellets and small frozen/live foods I would assume, and I believe they come from the same habitat as CPDs.

A google search turns up these. Perhaps you've seen these already. You're right, there doesn't seem to be a lot of information out there yet.

The size is not official yet hence the profile for Turboschistura arakanensis is not exactly complete although it is widely believe they grow no bigger than an inch indeed. A majority arrive at an inch size and even totally skinny in looks.

There is an article by Stan Sung in January 2008 TFH about this fish with a debate to have its name changed to Turboschistura shanensis because one local resident insisted they are not found in the Arakan river at all. The name might changed eventually, who knows.
