I have a question I have some Rotala Wallichii in my tank but I noticed that all the live bearers, the cherry barbs, and sae are eating it...I dont see any visible algae that they could be picking at and I also make sure to feed alot of green stuff...so why are they still picking at it? it is looking kind of thin.....

my fish pick at my wallichi all of the time. they dont seem affected at all by the fish. you probably are just noticing weak growth

Oh really it is in a 60 gal tank with EI dosing, 108 Watts from a t-5 HO catalina light and pressurized co2 diffusion by co2 mist.....

if you have that much going on in your tank then i dont know what to say

no pics for now. i'm trying to let my gda build up on my glass for a few weeks to see if i can get rid of it.

Oh really it seems like everyone is telling me that their R. wallichii gets eaten to some extent...is there any way to prevent this? And how can I bring out the reds in my plants?

everyone says that its low nitrates. but i see a lot of people that dose ei that has a ton of red in their tank. i'm going to try more fe to see if that works starting next week. when i bought mine from the lfs they were bright red all the way from the root to the tip. i cant imagine they were dosing their tank though. in my tank they are only red at the tips
