yes... max is 5", although petsmart would have you believe they get just as big as the commons. :mad2:

cute little buggers, though. i just got one, and i luff him.

Thanks! Petsmart told me they get to 18" but I heard elsewhere they stay fairly small. Thats why I asked. Thanks again!

Seriously? A Rubberlip Pleco will only get to 5"? I've been having panics about my stupid newbie purchase for weeks now, lol. I don't need to painc?

Is there a definitive pleco website that I could look at for more informtation? I've always planned to purchase a much bigger tank once I get to know the hobby, but it would be great to not have to rush the purchase. . .
