So, I just acquired 6 rummy-nose tetras and put them in my 47 gallon. I was wondering if I can get any help about these little guys. They are currently in with an angel fish and an Eclipse Catfish.

The little tetras seems to of made the trip safely but one of them isnt schooling this morning and he has a slight red spot on him (hah, not on his face) I know I can cure this with some clout but I was wondering if salt would work better. I know salt is the prefered treatment but I really dont know much about it.

What does my rummy have ?
Will salt treat it ?
Should I salt the entire tank or just him ?

Any help with these guys would be helpful, I dont want them to die on me ;)

Oh, and I was wondering, will my catfish eat these little guys ? I know my angel fish wont but I really dont know about that Eclipse (sun). I could easily get my thumb in his mouth, so I know that a few tetras would fit no problem, but I dont think he eats other fish. Hopefully......

Thanks

Poor little rummy-nose. I hope he doesnt eat one, I would be pretty sad.

Oh, my anti-social rummy went back to schooling. He still has the red on his skin but I think I will be able to treat it.
