running 2 filters in parallel.

Lengths of pipe (ESPECIALLY flexible tubing) slow down flow a good deal more than you'd think. For that long of a run, I'd go with 1" tubing, tee'd and reduced to 1/2" as close as possible to the filters. Even that is going to impede the flow a little. Minimize bends in the tubing and keep it as straight as possible.

bends would all be handled with elbows, which should keep things just slightly smoother than bending the tubing.

the larger tubing would be reduced to 1/2" basically, right at the filter.

Im thinking now, if i used larger tubing on the intake, and kept the outlet tubing all 1/2", the weight of the water pushing in on the input, should keep a good bit of pressure built up, which may help the outlets keep pressure up to push the water through all that tubing.

My thoughts, mostly, are that if i use larger tubing on the outlet, then the sheer weight of the water pushing back on the filter, will reduces its flow. but if i use 1/2" tubing on the outlet, it wouldnt be putting as much back pressure on the filter, from the weight of the water.
