Running DIY Co2 Through a c-160?

Please, correct me if I'm wrong but, I thought drop checkers were for paintball systems....Because they have more of a danger or putting to much co2 in.

It's for all co2 systems. It measures your ppm on co2. I imagine once you get a handle on the practice, you don't need to refer to the checker too often. Or, as mentioned, there are other methods for determining your saturation... mainly measuring your pH and kH(?), and then cross referencing those measurements against published charts. I can't remember off hand where to find those charts, but they're out there.

Ok thanks, Aside from the drop checker, can the co2 destroy my canister filter over time?

Yes.
It just works off of how much co2 is in the water. It doesn't care if its 1 or 1000 gallons.

That's cool. I already ordered one anyhow, with a refill, at BigAls.
I wonder why at greenleafaquariums they recommend different ones for different tank sizes... probably just marketing, eh?

1/2 true.
But you want to know if its low also.

I don't have much experience with plants or co2 yet. But I would imagine you could set up 2, 20g tanks with the same lights, filters, temps, fish, substrate and water. But with different plants, and find out one needs two bottles to keep up, while the other is just fine with one.

When you've had enough fun sticking your nose up to the glass, trying to count bubbles. You can just glance over at the CO2 indicator when you walk by and know you needed to change out your bottle yesterday.

Uhh huh

It doesn't have anything to do with L bows, arms, legs, filters, hats, chairs, etc.

It just gives you a good indication of how much CO2 is in the water.

OK, I wish there was one on drsfostersmith, hahaha I'm gonna have to shell out another $10 for shipping :(

P.s Has anyone ever heard of co2 harming a canister filter?
