I might need to do this if my internal air has too much CO2. But I'm not sure how to do it. Here's my skimmer:
The air tube goes up to the silencer. Air is drawn in through the top of the silencer, directly past the thumb screw that regulates air flow. (I've got it choked down pretty well on mine.)
I could bypass the silencer altogether and just replace the current tube with a long one running outside. But then how do I dial down airflow? Can I just use some kind of ball valve?
