I figured it was,it was different than the others in the tank so I took a chance.Once the 75 is setup I'll just leave him in the 20 with the goldfish.

The Fantail has been in this tropical tank for close to 2 years at 78 degrees,I haven't seen any ill effects from it.I don't even heat the tank,its just the warmth from the house.Has great color,eats well,swims around,grew nicely.

He is great for cleanup and he regulary picks up gravel in his mouth and spits it back out,helps keep the plants happy.

Not saying you're wrong,just saying I haven't seen anything that shows its affecting him.
