I have ich in a tank with Endler's and corys. In the past, I've had good luck with salt and elevated temps for ich; but how will the corys deal with the salt?

I know they are not salt tolerant, but how about 1 tsp salt /gallon if I work up to it slowly?

For the relatively low levels of salt needed to treat ich, cories should be largely unaffected, especially for short term. Mine have dealt fine with several successful treatments.

I used 2 teaspoons/gallon with green corys in the tank without a problem.

Used a tablespoon per 5g of table salt with my loaches and catfishes with no issue. Main rule is dissolve it thoroughly and add slowly to avoid stress that could kill the fish.
