The reason i bring this question I beem treating the tank for 4 days now (include today) last nite, there are still some ick on 3 - 4 cadinals, and the other 50 of thems, look's to me they are o.k but not as good like before. so i through if i raise the temp here will help to kill the ick quicker.
maybe you are right, or i just leave it for a while and see what happen.
Thanks !
I've set mine at 87F and none of the fishes seem stressed at all so far. I did lower th water level by an inch or so to increase the amount of aeration for additional O2.
I am trying out ich cure method without any medication...
do you have any live plants? cuz if you do, the ich medication will pry jack them up a bit. also, raising the temp might wreck them, too, but pry not too badly. but i guess your fish are worth more than your plants.
i already raise the temp. to 85f yesterday, the fish look o.k to me
but i did check this morning. get them more time to rest.
i also put carbon in to remove the guick cure yesterday, and will take it out today and start another treatment, since 3 - 4 cadinals still have a little ick on their bodies. i will do another 25%
water change before i start adding quick cure again in today.
overall so far i have 4 cardinal dead out of over 60+ since Jan last year. I hope i don't have anymore dead one because of ich.
I just worried is that possible beside ich there are other bad stuff in my tank to kill my fish, like second defaction. do I have to do other things to make sure my tank is o.k, after I assume the ich are all kill ?
Thanks
