lol...no problem. I was just bustin' your chops. Besides, I don't always explain things as clearly as I should. My responses are often kind of vague and I sometimes don't give the reasons 'why' or 'why not' to do something. That's why we have you, Ace. :D

I use Reef Crystals on my tank and its great, its easy to mix and contains some but not all trace elements. And i do agree with using a refractometer if you're going to have a reef tank but i wouldn't spend the extra money if you're just doing a FOWLR tank, IMO
 
Thanks everone, used the R/C and mixed for a day, water is clear and salinity is 1.022, just took all of your good advice and thanks again
