Salt reading

I tested my water and everything was good
ph=8.2
Amon=0
Nitrite=0
Nitrate=0
My tank has been cycling since last thursday. I check my salt today and it read 38ppt and 1.028 specific gravity. Is this too high and if so How do I lower the salt levels. I have a 29 gallon Bio cube.

that is a little high. tank out some water and put in freshwater untill it is about 1.023.

are you running a brackish water tank? if not, you should have zero salt in there.

specific gravity should be between 1.023-1.026. i keep mine at 1.025 and the ocean is 1.026 almost everywhere.
