I have some MORTON salt substitute which contains Potassium 610mg per 1/4 tsp (1.2g). I t also contains fumaric acid, tricalcium phosphate and monocalcium phosphate. Is this a reasonable substitute for Nu-salt? I know the Nu-salt does not contain phosphates (per the website) and the potassium is 570 something per 1g.

That was funny! Laughed out loud and almost woke the 1 yr. old. Hopefully all will survive. Can you tell me if the Flourish excel carbon is ok to use. My pH has always been around 7.6. Our water is hard but the fish seem to thrive. How big of an impact will the flourish carbon make on the pH? THANKS!
