I have salvini fry! After isolating my rogue male in a 40BR, I added two young ladies to see if that would help him settle down a bit. He killed one, but today I looked in the tank and found free-swimming fry!
So, I guess I need to read up on what to do. For now I'll probably just leave them in the tank (which they actually share with a raphael cat) and see how things go. Then maybe see if I can sell the offspring or maybe use them as feeders.....Whatever happens, I'm excited! It's fun to get a surprise that makes you feel like you're doing a good job creating a healthy environment for your fish. Woot!

...what's that plant in the front? Almost looks like oak leaves...welll, not really but I can't think of anything else to compare it to. Don't recall ever seeing anything quite like it in aquatic plants.
