Hmm, wonder how there's 0 Ammonia when I have a 5 day old raw rotting prawn in there lol.. it stinks like crazy so its defo decomposing!

So.. Ammonia .75 Day 2, .5 Day 3, .5 Day 4 , 0 Day 5. Mini Cycle? Is this sort of cycle okay if I stock slowly after Nitrites are 0 and Nitrates are <20? Or should I dose pure Ammonia, or put more prawns in to get it up to 3-4ppm?

D$%^, I hate those tests. Being Blue/Green color deprived (blind) I have to rely on the LFS for all my test. I wish someone would come up with a better testing system.

I would have just dosed the ammonia to begin with. 5ppm every day until you see nitrite, then 1/2 that dose until your nitrate peaks & then an 80% WC & you're good to go. Much more scientific than a rotting carcass in your tank, IMO.
