Due to new baby and job change, I have not be taking good care of my tanks, and one of my clown loach (smallest of the 3) is looking thin, color is ok. I'm back feeding them regular again, but the other 2 clowns loach are such pigs, they dont leave much for the little guy. So I was thinking about taking the little guy out of my 55gal and putting him in my 30gal tempory so I can better control feeding. The 30gal has 3 upside down cats (3-4inches in size) and 1 danio zebra.

Will the small clown loach be ok for month or so without being with the other clown loaches?

And will there any problems when put back into the 55gal?

Thanks..

I think the idea is good. And no problem putting him back in. Clown loaches are schoolers and like each other.

I have three loaches as well two are slightly larger and eat all of the food and chase the small one away so I just over feed them but a I do 25% water change once a week

Wow!! This is a 3 year old thread.
