I'm shutting down a tank tonight that had a die off. I'd like to save the plants if possible, java moss and java swords. I'll pick off all the snails I can see, but would like to have the plants be snail free. I'm planning to bleach the tank. Can I use bleach water on the plants? Are there any other common household items I can use (hydrogen peroxide? table salt?)?

Is it a normal household item? Or where would I get it?

Can anyone tell me where to get Potassium permanganate dip? Or is there another name for it?

Thanks, Lupin.

i'd just use a 10% bleach solution for a min or two and rinse them real well
