Says it'll hold up to 350 lbs.. is it safe?

I plan on using something like this when I set up my peacock breeding system. I feel plenty comfortable putting a 10 or a couple 5's on there, easily. Anything beyond that, I may think twice.

I sat a 10g on one of those cheapo Target particle board bookcases (the 20 dollar ones) and had no issues at all, so I definitely trust these all-metal racks. They may not look that nice, but they're functional. Form after function, if you ask me!

Figure 10 lbs per gallon. No more than 35 gallons on each shelf. Probably best to keep it under 30 for the saftey factor. So up to three 10 gallon tanks per shelf if you have room and need.

I have a buddy who has one of those in his kitchen with (I think) three or four 10s, end on, on each shelf without any visible bowing.

thanks

I'll probably only have two 10 gal tanks on it because the rest of the shelves are too low for any. I could re-adjust the shelves though if I need to put more on them.

Do you think I have to have a board underneath them? Because right now I only have 1 board long enough to fit a 10g and I've decided there's 3 shelves that'll fit a 10g each, so I'm short 2 boards. I guess I could get some more but I'd rather not have to.

Shouldn't be a problem to go without. I mean, a 10 gallon is only 80 or so lbs (unless you fill it with rocks), so a 340% safety factor ought to be plenty. Just do your best to make sure they're level.
