Scanner Glass Tank / Paludarium

Luc I love these and it is a brilliant use of recycling/repurposing the glass panels. But shipping an assembled tank is gonna kill you on postage. Why not take the glass sheets and sell them as a kit? Make up an instruction sheet for the models you have done so far with pictures; then sell either just the glass or a "deluxe do-it-yourself fishtank!!" kit with a cheap glasscutter, tube of silicone, and roll of tape. You could probably sell the kit for US$50 with shipping MUCH cheaper, your time saved and more profit. Sell the ones you make for fun locally. :)

Thanks for the compliment XanAvaloni. Oh, I did not mention to sell them would be in the local market next door first... Living in Thailand so sure shipping would kill me...lol
Good idea on the kit with instructions though, thanks.

Would likely cut glass to measure with stickered numbers for assembly.
Ship a bag of tree bark with it and a tube of silicone, pump and hose.
Stones and gravel at your own choice

Did a proper measure of the watervolume and was surprised to find it at 12 liter, just over 2.5 Gallon.

I finished tank number 3, decided to go a different shape.
Personally it is my favorite right now. Broke up the box-shape of the other ones and the result is much better.
Waterfall has been taking most time, but the result is that there's no splashing, a very even flow of water and plenty of space for moss and other plants to grow.

Hope to get some white sand soon to top it off.
Pictures...
1st one is the Tank 1, growing nicely with some Tetra's in.
2nd and 3rd the new one. Big rock-formation against clean glass and seemingly floating stone island on the right.

Just thinking of it, I must say that these small tanks are very satisfying to make and see.

It really forces you to focus on a particular eye-catcher.
This makes for much easier 'perfect look' results imho.

It's cheap, easy to build and begging you to make another one with another shape...Can recommend this to everybody to try...
I'll be making some others for sure..just pure fun...

Great Job Luc...... Hey, Don't I know you ??

Flyinggig, happypoet, thanks for the comments.
Flyinggig, not sure, where from? Never been to Trinity Bay. In Thailand since 2005, many other places before that.

We've chatted about your hydro/aquaponics setup/build, while we've played facebook games.
I had a youtube channel Labrador Garden vlog.

Flyinggig, that must be my long lost twin-brother that I never met but always knew from my dreams...lol

Different person I guess. I don't have hydro/aquaponics setups or builds.
And I never played facebook games, don't even have a facebook account...

But nice to meet you anyway...
