I used to have a Spotted Scat in a 15 gallon aquarium, it started out in brackish and then i made it into full SW, the amazin thing is after 6 years it got to 8" in diameter (with fins extended), but had to give it to the LFS because we moved and couldnt take it. I have yet to see something more impressive then a 8" spotted scat (well except for a 8" tiger scat)

What do you mean by more impressive fish than a scat. Sorry to burst your bubble but I can think of tons of fish that are more impressive than an 8 inch scat IMO. I think Triggers, Lions, Eels, Puffers, SW Angels, Anablep Anablep, Figure 8 Puffers, Monos etc are more attractive. That 8 inch scat is still a baby by the way. They get to 15 inches when full adult and require full saltwater which is why I compared them to some sw fish. Anyway, hope this helps

most places say only 13", but yes an 8" is still a baby and nowhere near the 13" eating machine it'll be. One of mine is 8" right now and he's an eating machine. The two of mine can take half a head of romaine lettuce down in 3 minutes flat.
