When I feed my fish, most of it falls to the ground. What would be a good scavenger to eat them? I have a Dasmel in a 10 gallon tank.

Sounds like your feeding way too much. You should enough so that your fish eats it all in a short period of time. Don't worry too much about underfeeding. Many people stock hermit crans and snails as scavengers. I do, and I also have sea cucumbers and stars.

According to your other thread, the tank is still cycling. If the damsel is suffering because of high ammonia, then anything else you add will suffer as well. IMO it's much too early to consider adding invertebrae or anything else right now. I would just cut back on the amount of food.
