After your thread on how much you dislike females, I thought that changing in front of the guys wouldn't be a problem.

Naw, just trying to annoy Zaffy :D

Although I really doubt that the crust has giant bubbles in it....

well in a way it does, as the volcanos when erupted throws out lava, so in a way its kinda like our tanks when we have sand and the sand has air pockets that throw out bubbles once in a while. we cant get no air bubbles/pockets in our crust, noone knows what would happen if we did. may melt through and melt the grass and such or may not.. dont know on that one.. but yeah like i said, i am standing by what i said. agree with me or not is up to you.

You wonder twins really think that the rock wouldn't just melt if it were floating on more molten rock? You used the Ice on a pond analogy before. What happens over time if the ice is left there? It melts and becomes water. Why hasn't this "crust" melted into the lake of lava you claim is underground. I know, because there isn't one. I think the only thing we agree on is that it's hot underground, but what happens when something get's really hot, it goes from Solid, to Liquid, to Gas. That's basic chemistry, the Earth has to be filled with gas if it's going to be hot enough on the inside to make lava near the edge, like what spills out in Hawaii and places like that.

ok answer me this, why hasnt the earths ground melted yet? earths ground is protected by the mantle...... the mantle takes all the beating from the core... ever seen that movie where the core stopped spinning and 3 or 5 ( forgot which ) people went underground to restart the core? yes? no? well after i seen that movie i am basing this off of what i saw/read...

If the Earth is filled with gas then I really hope the Morlocks don't learn how to make fire. That could be very bad for everyone.

answer this, what causes the volcano to erupt?

gas buildup from underground, pushes the lava up and out of the volcano...

yes theres gas inside the earth... not the same kind that explode with fire or earth wouldnt exsist anymore..

There's a temperature gradient from the center of the earth out to space.

In the center its very hot, hot enough to vaporize rock and make it into a gas, then comes the liquid layer, not as hot as gas, but hot enough to make rock liquid. Then the solid outer layer that we live on. Not too hot for that, then comes space, where it's very cold, almost absolute zero in fact.

You're basing your argument off of a Ben Affleck movie, that's Hollywood junk.
