Last week I had a dream that all cichlids could live together in peace.


2 1inch dovii a pair
2 2inch tiger ocars
1 1inch umbee
1 1inchflowerhorn
1 1inch red devil

in a 125 gal. how long before this dream becomes a very expensive nightmare

All of those cichlids wouldn't do to good together especially after they reached about 5 inches or maybe less. You could either do the dovii pair, or the 2 oscars, or maybe mixing 2 of the others but maybe you could get more help from someone else on that.

if you mean a mated dovii pair then they will kill everything else.

if not then it will be a toss up between one of the dovii the umbi the RD and the flowerhorn too who ends up champ.


and by champ I mean guy who ate everyone else.

plus umbis need a tank at least double 125 for the long term.

the oscars have been removed due to the violent torment of the doviis. I never seen dovii group together and attack. But ever one else is peaceful and happy as long as they are full.
