And way to delicate... They are dragonettes, not blennies, and require a special diet of enormous amounts of copepods to survive most of the time unless you can wean them on to prepared foods.
Ace, yes I know they're dragonettes but I use the common name because that's what people recognize. Mine won't eat cops they LOVE krill though. I knew about the copepod diet before I purchased them and have been breeding cops in the basement in a 5 gallon bucket.. but like I said, they don't want them which is fine with me. Krill it is.
a really good LFS just set up a specialty thank for these guys and are getting them on prepared foods before selling..they are soooooo freaking cute my b/f wants to make room so I can set up another tank in the bedroom.....to bad i have empty tanks and no equip for salt.....*shigh* if i were not so poor...lol
Can you elaborate on that? I am puzzled by that statement. I feed my corals oyster feast and rotifers, both way to small for any fish to be able to eat.
i guess i tend to feed larger foods, nutramar ova, brine, mysis cyclopeeze..feeding acans duncans favias, some of the larger polyped sps take the ova and cyclopeeze well, although i havent been feeding much recently, and i gave the scooter to my friend so i guess i have no such conflict any more
