Scratch or burnt scat

I've got a 4 inch silver scat who has a sore on his side that looks like a burn or scratch. He frequents the under area of a fake root that doesn't leave him enough clearance to get out from undernearth. It also looks like he could have gone behind the filter intake and scratch on it, or burnt by the heater. I want to know if I should worry about my other fish or just let it heal.

Just add Melafix to the water, it should fix him right up!

So I shouldn't worry about disease? He doesn't seem stressed really.

If it is just a scratch or burn then you will not need to worry about disease to the scat or your other fish, if you make sure that you keep the water quality perfect. Melafix should help as well.
