Hah! I just saw the preview of what's in this post, and I thought, boy, does that story sound familiar. Then I clicked on the thread, and yeah, it's familiar, because it's me! :grinyes:
This was great to re-read--it's my FIRST thread. Let me assure everyone that things have changed a lot since I first joined AC. I have test kits, planted tanks, a quarantine tank, a good water change schedule... oh, and MTS.
hydraloveingman, don't worry, I don't kill the snails. And, danyal, yes, they are scuds. I still see a few in that old 10 gallon (which now houses 4 platies), but their populations went way down after I learned how to do water changes.
(And, for anyone checking out my sig--don't worry--those clown loaches are going to a 180 gallon tank in a few weeks, as soon as their new owner sets it up. One other thing I've learned since joining AC is what gets you flamed :evil_lol
