Sea Squirt / Tunicate

Ascidians should never be exposed to air..exposed to light is all dependant on the type. "Most" prefer low lit shady area's with real good flow..

If you think that you dont have any of these in your tank, think again...Your live rock will be full of them, either very well camouflaged (which is what they are excellent at) or inside your live rock..

Those are awesome, will they propogate on their own?

You say they are not sponges right? Do they take special care or spot feeding? How big can they get?

They are not sponges no, they are classed as an invertibrate, although they are very similar and should be treated in much the same way..

Propogation is not easy, although they contain male and female parts so they can self reproduce..
