OMG.. A day to mark on the calender for sure! First time I seen you make a mistake like this. LOL. You are human after all.. here I thought you were some fish in a store in Alabama typing all this stuff, like that fish on American Dad.. I mean, with a name like Amphiprion.. what was one supposed to think? hahaha..

So.. the iron balls, if in the tank, should be able to be scooped up/vacuumed out right? And yes.. now I remember those things.. long time ago, think in 95 I bought one, but tossed it shortly after in favor on a swing arm which I thought was better, now I know otherwise.

I've never seen one with a thermometer built-in, so that's new for me. We always had to measure both separately to use the conversion chart.

Edit: I would get the weights out. I learned my lesson about rusting materials a while back. They siphon easily.

lol. I try not to make mistakes often, but when I do, they fail hard.
