sealing wire caps on lights?

I have an AH setup I am assembling, and I was wondering if i should fill the wire caps with hot glue or something to seal them up from moisture. for some reason, moisture and electricty in close confines make me a little nervous.

Hot glue will be a PITA when you need to remove it to mod your hood again. Just wrap some electrial tape around the wirenut.

If you wanted to be extra cautious. You can buy wire nuts with a waterproofing goop on the inside, then wrap with electrical tape. You could even go so far as using rubber water proofing tape, over the nuts and top with electrical tape. Might be overboard though.

ORRRRR get some heatshrink tubing, solder the wires together, and use that instead.

A booger of silicone will seal, and stay flexible for easy removal
