SEAWEED?!

got this in the bayou about 10 min from my house, covered in algae and is now bright green thanks to my mollies for cleaning it up , not sure what to call it cause seaweed would we saltwater sooooo what would this be?

ok thanks this stuff is awesome grows really well in my 36 gallon with only 20w of light it grew almosr 3 inches in 3 days

best part of all it was free

Not sure where you are, but when I was in Lafayette it was known as "Bayou grass". Vallisneria is probably a better ID though.
