Hi all, this is my second post, although I have been a member of this forum for quite some time, just been lurking. My name is Chip, live in Midland, MI and currently have 5 freshwater tanks, most planted with many different species and tank sizes. I plan on adding a couple saltwater tanks into the mix as well, one reef and fowlr, have had this in the planning for almost six months. I am a patient fish keeper, I like to be successful with my tanks and will find the right way to do things, hopefully on the first shot, but not always. My stocking list is as follows:

90g Acrylic with built in wet/dry on back(have neve seen this type of tank other than this one)
Fauna: pair of kribensis, kissing gourami, 3 bristlenose pleco, 5 madagascar rainbows

Flora: 3 swords(unknown), pennywort, java moss, anubias barteri var barteri

55g old school glass with stainless frame and slate bottom
Fauna: 9" Oscar, 7" Jack Dempsy, 8" Albino Chocolate Pleco

Flora: 2 swords(unkown), java moss, bronze wendtii crypt, dwarf sag. subulata

29g Fauna: Breeding pair of convicts(no shock they are breeding, lol) and about 30 fry

Flora: 2 swords(mother and daughter melon sword), java moss, 2 bronze wendtii crypt, pennywort, spiral vals, dwarf sag subulata

29g Fauna: 4 blue platy(3m, 1f prego), 4 paleatus cory cats, rubberlip pleco

Flora: 2 swords(mother and daughter marlbe queen rubican), java moss, telanthera, anubias barteri var barteri, bronze wendtii crypt, dwarf sag subulata

10g Fauna: African clawed frog, otto catfish

Flora: no swords, LOL, java moss, windelov, pennywort

I obviously like my sword plants and didn't realize I had that many until I started to write it down on here. I have been in the process of moving tanks around and making my living room into a show room of sorts. I plan to have my two saltwater tanks, 90g and 55g fw tanks, an additional 30g planted tank, and a 55g paludarium into the mix as well. It will be a lot of work, but I have all the tanks and most of the equipment to do all of this, just need the time now.

I have been keeping fish for over ten years and one of the 29g and the 55g have been running for that span, I just recently got MTS(in the past year or so) and am starting to fill my house with tanks. I even have plans for one in the bathroom if you can imagine. Just a small fancy guppy tank, but I am addicted.

Thanks for reading my long post and as a bonus for getting this far, I will leave you with some recent pictures.

:hi: Beautiful plants! Keep us posted with the updates. (Wish I could turn my living room into a tank show room!) LOL

Well, then.... no welcome for you, Chip, since you've been with us all along. :lipssealedsmilie:

J/k.. lol.

But I will say... howdy! :hi:

Whether you've been posting or not doesn't really matter. What's important is that you've enjoyed your stay and you've been able to benefit from what our community has to offer.

I really get a kick out of steel frame tanks, so it was great to see the one you have.

Thanks for posting!

Thanks for looking, living alone Noodles allows me to setup all my tanks in the living room. I will try to keep up on updates.

Kashta, thanks for the howdy, I have been a member for some time and enjoy reading all of the forums. That steel frame tank is something else, I really like the look of it, the fish in a picture frame look.

Nice tanks!
