My plans for a 125 gallon to place them in have fallen through, so they need nice spacious homes to live in. I'll ask only $10 for the Bichir and $5 for the cichlid plus shipping costs because this is better than giving them to my LFS to sell, since she's an idiot and would give them to anyone for a little money.

She sells cichlids as large as mine for $15 and 3-inch senegals for $25. I don't know if that's accurate, but I don't want her making money and giving them to just anyone.

I call the Senegal Bichir 'Reptar'. He's over 7 inches long now. I bought him when he was only 3 inches. He's been eating cichlid pellets, feeder guppies, shrimp pellets, live ghost shrimp, and fresh minced catfish. He's chock full of fantastic personality and has been a joy to keep and to learn about. I'm saddest about letting him go.

I call the electric yellow 'Lem'. He is simply stunning. I've seen a lot of electric yellow images online and he has a lot of black on the tips of his fins, but not so much of the brownish bands on his face or body. That is just pure brilliant yellow. He's been living off blanched vegies, cichlid food, and the occasional goldfish crumbles (he's love them since he was small).

I want to do the right thing by my pets since I can't be sure how soon I'll have another chance for a larger aquarium and would hate to see them stunted. I have some photos and can send more and I'm available to ship them Tuesday thru Thursday. Will accept Paypal or Money Order. Thanks.

*bump* Anyone? They are both in spectacular condition. I don't want to have to give Lem to my petshop lady, but I'm afraid he'll eat the eyes out of my pleco if I keep him!!

Gimme a chance and I'll provide some new pics. The tank looks a lot better than when I did my original batch. I should have some photos up by Wednesday of next week, if not sooner. :)

I just set up a new 300 gallon tank with plenty of room. Honestly, I love Bichir's. I had an albino until a few months ago, he tore open his belly on something one day in my old tank, never found out what it was even. But I loved him, great character and growing fast. The 300 is up now with some clown loaches, two bala's, a red tail black shark, a new, pretty little red tail pacu, albino tiger oscar, a 6, maybe 7 inch jack dempsey, 3 big plecos and some assorted crustaceans. I can't say i'm dying for the electric yellow, but it would certainly be a nice home for them both. let me know what you think, im located in NY state, so shipping would be a factor.
