Senegal Bichir tank recommendation

Hello guys i want to build a new tank for 2 of my senegal bichir (7 inches). Do you have any design recommendation?

it will be 30g aquarium. I prefer a simple hardscape/maybe a little bit of plants.
i watch a lot of bichir tank on youtube, but I'm still confused with the substrate that best for bichir.

Senegal bichirs need at least a 90 gallon tank for just one so I think you need to rethink the tank size
