sensitivity of pictus cats

Ok are they scaleless?
are they sensitve to ick meds
such as those containing malchite green? if so what is the best way to medicate them for this ??? thank you

I"m not sure if they are scaleless but its seems like most of hte catifsh are sensitive to meds. I would treat with 1/2 strengh or meds especially for scaleless fish.

does anyone know of a safe scaleless fish med??? or how you would treat ick just using salt in a 20 gallon q tank ???

Well my clownloaches are scaless. and orion girl told me to use..salt.. a teaspoon for every gallon.. give a teaspoon every 3-4 hours. until limit is reached. also raise the temprature (if itsich were talking about here) that did it for me. Example

20g tank... 3-4 hours.. add tablespoon of salt(dont forget to stir up salt in glass of water then add) reapeat every 3-4 hours
