Separating Coral from 2 rocks

Just rip the rocks apart. Green star polyps are actually hard to kill on purpose (many people have tried) They'll probably just close up for a few days but they'll be fine.
 
Knife, scissors if you want to be neat. They can handle it, especially when healthy and yours looks healthy. Just cut it between the rocks and you'll have two separate colonys.
