serpae vs black skirt tetra

hey, which grow bigger? black phantom tetra or black skirt tetra? becuase at petco is says the black skirts grow to 2in max while the phantom go to 3in max.

which grows more same size as the serpae, the phantom or black skirt??

I have kept both serpae and black skirt and I have to say I like the serpae better. At the moment, I have only 1 black skirt (~3 years old) and a school of 10 serpaes. Suprisingly, the black skirt schools very well with the other fish. I love the way my serpaes go into a frenzy when I drop in a frozen bloodworm cube.

There is nothing brighter than the brilliant red of my serpaes against foliage.

And I agree that feeding time is a hoot!

From my experience--the Serpea and Phantom is about the same size. The Black skirt, just a little bigger.
