Hey all. My goldfish are doing good but they are headeding to their new home (55gal at sisters) soon. She just picked up her stand today for the tank I'm giving her. Question is how quickly can I put them in the new tank? And how quickly can I get this sucker cycled?

It depends.
If you can use filter media from the old tank it could cycle over night, or simple go through a mini cycle. In that case you may chance putting the fish in right away. Or you could put in old filter media and then add ammonia/fish food to feed the bacteria and see if the tank will start a new cycle or not.
If you cannot use the old filter media then other object from the tank will help to start a cycle, but it could still take many weeks. You can also try commercial bacteria, but I have never used them myself.

Cool, I'll throw the media I have in the 20 they are in now in the 55. I didn't know it could cycle that quickly. I still will probably wait several days before moving them.
