Great! If the Aceis are juvies, I would not worry too much about male/female ratio. This is IMHO, the least aggressive of all mbuna species.

I say this because my 6 Aceis have been in my 55g for 6 1/2 months now, and they always behave like schooling fishes; swimming together near the surface most of the time. I don't know what I have; I'm only sure that at least 2 of them are females. I have only seen very few brief chasing among themselves.

I agree about the acei. I have 7 in my tank and I think the two largest are males but the rest I have no idea. Mine had about a week of bickering a month ago but seem to have settled the issue and all get along great. My other fish chase them but they are quick and usually my other fish get distracted. I like them a lot

Well they made it here, healthy looking and alive. I have a few pics, but they are not good in any way I can't for the life of me get a good shot of them. He ended up sending me 7 instead of 6. They are much smaller then I was expecting so I am a bit concerned about them getting picked on. I did move my rock work around to make a few smaller hiding holes for them.

cool setup.. photos are ok.. and as always coolness on the extra fish i get so stoked when shippers send me extras funny aye..

Yes efors they are Ngara (white tail), I know the pics are terrible..but the best of the ones I took (sad huh). When I can get a good shot or two I'll add them, but they do have white on their tails and their top fins...their just so flippin cute!!!

Here are a couple pics with the flash, you can see them a "little" better, and well had to through one of my Ahli in....he was jealous I think and kept getting in the way
