Thanks to those who saw my post as something beyond verbal diarrhea... Yes, I too prefer a verbose post as opposed to one that is all too brief and leaves the reader asking 1,001 questions to the original poster.

So wait, if I understand correctly, everytime someone responds to this, you get a notification, via e-mail?

sumthin fishy: Actually, there are different settings... if you want "Instant Email Notification," it only sends you one notification until you read the thread... so person #1 replies at 12:00, #2 at 14:00, and #3 at 17:00, and you don't visit the topic until 18:00, you only receive the one email from 12:00. There is also an option to receive a once-a-day email summarizing new posts in topics you are watching... and one like that but on a week-by-week basis... and there are even more options but I don't remember them all.
So you only get notified if there is a response, I get it.
I was actually hoping it would tell you about every post, hence the 2 posts right next to eachother.

If I post to a thread at say 07:00... then someone replies at 08:00, another at 09:00, and another at 10:00, but I do not view the thread again until 12:00, I will only receive ONE notification email, likely sent just after 08:00.
Now, if someone else replies at 14:00, I would then receive ANOTHER notification sent to me at about 14:01 or so, saying "new replies since you last visited topic."
Hopefully that clears things up!?
