Setting up my new 29 gallon Amazon biotope

Here are some pics of the lung checking the place out and cleaning up the last of the frozen bloodworms I threw in today. He really likes the floating plants and hangs out in the floating mat most of the day, but he also cruises around the tank from time to time, especially when there's food involved. He's doing great and is almost twice as big as when I got him-which is pretty amazing considering how small he still is

Tank looks great, I'd love to see how it's grown in...

I have 2 tanks with a cork background myself, that are now 9 and 10 months running, and I can honestly say that there really isn't any decay happening. In fact, I'd say this cork is more tolerant of my soft acidic water here, than malaysian driftwood is. It's just not an issue. The way I see it, the cork will last longer than I will want the tank, I am sure.
