Greetings again, I have several questions and firgured I save a little server space!

The first is in regards to Gold rams... how do you sex them? I have had a group of four now for several months and have been trying to breed them. I've tried all different water conditions, currently in slightly acidic, warm, soft water supposedly like they like, but still no dice. I'm beginning to think I might not have any pairs and they are all one sex. How do I tell?

next, I got a pair of Agasizzi (sp?) Apistos a while back in hopes of breeding them also. The male quickly tormented the female(two actually) enough to kill them qiite quickly. How he seems to go after any other fish in the tank, even my breeding Bolivian rams that are 3 times his size! And he's not playing either! Aren't these supposed to be peaceful community fish? What would be good tank mates for the Apistos as I'm trying to find another female. And when I find another female, should I go ahead and add her to the tank or is there some way to condition them separately? The tank is a 40 gallon breeder, so it is decent sized...

Finally, while at a LFS today, I was looking at some plants in one of their display cases and noticed a very strange fish that looked like a Blue Ram! The colors were close to being correct, but the body was all wrong! It had a much shorter body, much like that of an angle fish, but 'normal' fins all around. I asked them and they said they were a hybrid fish that they were having trouble finding again... anybody run across these before? They were definitely a Ram, and looked just like a Blue ram, but something is not right!

Anyone know how long a Goephagus Hondae (or whatever the new name is!) hold the eggs/fry in her mouth before she lets them out? Seems like mine has been holding for like 2 weeks!

Thanks for all the help,
Bill C.
