i noticed yesterday that my gold severum which i've had for 5 month is about 3inch has a small raised lump on his side (near to the back) its about 1mm circular its red like its blood (maybe he scraped himself?) and i can see a bit of white "fluff" around it. hes acting normally, swimming around and eating.i'd get a picture if i knew how to get them on here.

maybe i should post this in the cichlid room?

Could be a few things. What is your water chemistry?

Posting a picture isn't that dificult do a search for picture hosting and you will find lots of places that are point and click hosting. Then just add the url.

my water is good..it doesnt seem like anything that could be caused by water as hes acting like nothing is wrong and the other fish are ok to.. should i put him in the hospital tank?

Define "good"
Ammonia =
NitrITE =
NitrATE =
PH =

i could be wrong but looks like a fungus to me i would put him in the ht and start with pimafix . maybe someone smarter than i will know better
