My severums have been breeding for like 6 months now how can i get the babies to stay alive. The tank is mixed with africans....I was planning on transfering the babies and the parents into a 36 gallon tank do you think that would work.

Your best bet is to remove the fry altogether and raise them in a separate tank.

How often did you feed them and how often did you do water changes on their tank?

I fed them every day I guess. But no water changes. They have over a hundred eggs right now so I was gonna attempt to save them again. Appreciate any info TY.

That is your problem. You need to feed them multiple times daily. I try to feed 3 to 4 times a day. You will also need to do every other day water changes at a minimum. I prefer to do daily water changes. The fry are very sensitive to the water parameters which is why the frequent water changes are required. They also have small bellies and use up their food quickly so that is why the multiple daily feeding are required. Be sure you crush up your flakes into a powder and use fresh flakes (not anything that has been sitting around forever).

Will 2 severum's be ok in a 45gal extra tall show tank?

No, not as adults, the footprint of a 45 extra tall is far too small for each to have adequate territory.
