Severum Tank Mates?

ok.. so I am no expert on SA cichlids... My expertise lies more with bottom dwellers and africans

I aquired a breeding pair of gold severums a while back.. and they are now in a 110G tank alone

what would be some acceptable tankmates for them?

fish, inverts, anything?

i have geophagus surnimensis with my GoldSeverums, they are very peaceful and get along great. Not one fight as of yet.
Geo braziliensis are quite bolshy and very aggressive at breending season so dont use them. Torpeado barbs look awsome, there fast n colourful and Iam adding some soon. You can add any quiet south american species really just keep to the unaggressive species, sevs are quiet timid and will get bullyed by all.

Just about any mid to large Cichlid with similar aggression will work. Smaller species may work as well. Silver dollars, Large tetras, Several types of cat fish...the list goes on.

I've had silver dollars, black bars, Clown loaches with my severums, They get along well
the problem will be if the wseverums laid eggs, the eggs/fries might be eaten.
