for the sevs, you could go to liveaquaria.com

for the severum tank, you could have two with a couple of dither fish like black skirt tetras.

a 55 gallon tank would be to small for one red belly pirannah considering that they grow to be around 12" long and they are very messy.

A rule of thumb for piranhas is 10 gallons per fish, so I've been told and read. So in your 55 gallon you should be able to have 4 piranhas.

I don't keep piranha however, that said the general rule would be dependant upon the species of piranha. from the looks of it there are quite a few out there.
in a 55 I would suggest you try and find a 'smaller' species.

you can keep 3 red bellys in a 55. That's the minimum but it works. If for some odd reason you get some that grow freaksihly large freakishly fast you might consider an upgrade.

What will he do once they're full grown, freakishly fast or not? It's best to start off with a tank that doesn't have to be upgraded to begin with. Just my two cents.
