Doesn't look real to me. The last one shown you can see in the upper right corner of the "blob" something that looks like a marionette string connected to it.
Almost looks like a colony of worms. But how would they move as if they were one being? Maybe somewhat of a chain reaction, one moves, the others freak out and move with it.
